Born 2008-2014 Program Overview

At the Edmonton Volleyball Center, our goal is to grow a love for volleyball in each person that walks through our doors. With this goal as the center of everything, we are proud to run for the fourth year in a row our Youth Development Program occurring through three sessions throughout the year.

At our WEST location, we can take a minimum of 12 and Maximum of 28 athletes in our 2 court facility. If we get to our minimum 20 athletes for 2 teams, during the first 2 days of the programs all athletes will be coached all together. Each athlete will then be assigned to a team, and given a coach; there will be 2 teams created. Teams will be divided as evenly as possible given the ages and skill levels involved. Should an athlete attend with a friend please advise the coaching staff and arrangements will attempt to be made to place them on the same team.

Program Purpose:

The goal of our Youth Development Program is to provide an opportunity for athletes to develop fundamental skills, foster sportsmanship, and experience the excitement of team play in a positive, recreational environment.
