TEACHERS TAKE THE COURT - Pickleball Tournament
EVP Center is excited to offer the 1st Annual “Teachers Take the Court”
Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, May 31st, 2025. This tournament will provide the Edmonton and surrounding area teacher communities the chance to come together and enjoy a great day of fun and competitive pickleball! Whether you've got experience, or are just getting started, this event is for everyone as we will be offering beginner, intermediate and advanced levelled tournament options. There will also be a silent auction where all proceeds will be going towards the Stollery Children’s Hospital.

Best Dressed Team Award - Prizes Available for Top Dressed 2 Teams
Prizes Awarded to 1st/2nd/3rd in all 3 tournament categories
Silent Auction in House - All proceeds will be going to the Stollery Children’s Hospital
Sea Change Brewing Co. will be on site with free samples available
Courtside Cafe will have food, drinks, snacks and alcoholic beverages for purchase available throughout the day

-$120.00 plus GST per team ($60.00 per person plus GST)

General Tournament Information
This is a doubles pickleball tournament (2 people per team)
Tournament will be all genders meaning partnerships can be (male/male, female/female or mixed)
Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced divisions available
On each registering team, one individual must be a teacher or retired teacher and the other individual does not have to be a teacher. Find a family member, colleague or friend to play!
Round robin style tournament play
Timed games
Approximately 3 hours of play for all registered teams
9:00am-12:00pm Wave and 1:00pm-4:00pm Wave (approximate timeline) Each tournament division will take place in ONE of the above timelines.
Teachers Take The Court Pickleball Tournament
All tournament refund requests made prior to May 10th, 2025 will be subject to an administration fee of 10% of the total purchase, plus a 2% payment processing fee. There will be no refunds for the tournament after May 10th, 2025.
