Monday, November 15th, 2021 - 9:30-2:30pm
This one day camp will provide junior high athletes the opportunity to review and strengthen their understandings of the fundamental skills of volleyball and also will include game play opportunities in a 6-on-6 format. Broken into 2 sessions, the morning session will give athletes the opportunity to receive technical instruction on many different volleyball skills. The afternoon session will allow athletes to receive team play opportunities in game-like settings. All sessions will be co-ed.
This camp is designed for junior high aged athletes who have a minimum of 1 year experience on a school and/or club volleyball team.
Athletes attending this camp should have:
-general control of fundamental skills (setting, forearm passing, serving)
-a understand how to move the ball to a target
-past experience with some game play involving 3 contacts
Camp Ratio - 14 athletes - 1 Coach
COST: 89.99 plus GST
*Lunch time will be supervised by coaches. Athletes are to remain in the Center at all times throughout the scheduled camp day unless the parent has contacted me directly to inform me they will be taking their child out of the building for lunch.
9:30am -11:30am - Skills and Drills
11:30am -12:15pm - LUNCH (to be eaten in the cafeteria at The Center)
12:15pm - 2:30pm - Game Play/Tournament Time
2:30pm - Pick Up/ Home Time
Athletes should bring the following equipment:
-Clean indoor Shoes
-Clothing designed for physical activity.
-Knee pads and ankle braces (Optional)
Should knee pads, ankle braces, volleyballs or any other equipment be required, our pro shop is on site and able to accommodate.
Junior High Skills, Drills and Play One Day Camp
All camp cancellations and refund requests made prior to November 5th will be subject to an administration fee of 25% of the overall camp total, plus a 2% payment processing fee.
There will be no refunds for this camp as of November 5th, 2021.
Covid 19 Policy
The Covid-19 pandemic could foreseeably force the shutdown of The Center’s Youth Camps due to government order. In the case of EVPC having to shut down this program before it has yet to start, EVPC will provide a program“credit” in equal value for a future EVPC Camp or program.
In the event that the camp has already started, EVPC will have already incurred costs including coaching fees, rental costs, equipment fees, which cannot be recouped, therefore, participants will not be entitled to a refund, however, EVPC will work to provide customers a potential prorated credit for future use to a camp or program where possible.
