Front Desk Associate Position
Position Description: Hiring for 1-2 experienced individuals who are service excellence oriented, mature, responsible, firm, and friendly when dealing with patrons. As a first contact to facility renters and users, it is important that the ideal candidate assists our patrons in a knowledgeable and professional manner. The Center’s Front Desk Associates are responsible for performing a variety of customer service functions as well as attending to a number of hands-on duties required for the day to day operations of the facility. Individuals hired in this position will be responsible for guiding and working cooperatively with other front desk associates.

Shift Times:
-
Sunday Day Shift (8:00am-4:00pm), Friday Night Shift (4:00pm-12:00am), Saturday Day/Night Shift
-
On Call (ready and available to pick up any other shifts requiring coverage throughout the week)

Excellent computer skills

Represent The Center in a professional and mature manner

Maintain a polite, considerate, and cooperative attitude

Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team environment

Ability to communicate positively and effectively with all patrons and staff

Monitor and enforce all facility/program policies, rules, and regulations

Maintain a neat and professional appearance

Possesses integrity and respects the privacy and confidentiality of individuals

Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Perform customer service functions including: answering incoming telephone calls, checking patron ID’s, selling guest entries, clinics & passes, providing assistance and information related to The Center’s programs, activities, facility offerings, hours of operations procedures, forms, fees, or other issues

Opening and/or closing of the facility
-
Provide general cleaning and sanitization of the facility
-
Possess a working knowledge and maintain daily operation of point sale (POS) and all online programming
-
Concession purchases
-
Maintain an orderly desk and reception area for daily operations
-
Assist in the set up and take down of nets, poles, and other equipment on the court areas
-
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:
-
High school diploma (Mandatory)
-
CPR/AED and/or Standard First Aid certification (preferable)
-
Pro Serve Certification (Required - but can be obtained once hired)
