At the Edmonton Volleyball Center, our goal is to grow a love for volleyball in each person that walks through our doors. With this goal as the center of everything, we are proud to introduce our new Youth Development Program occurring through three sessions throughout the year.
This age category will have practice once a week and will focus on fundamental movement patterns, volleyball skills and fostering a love of sport in each participant. Those entering this age category will experience their modified "tournament" day on the final scheduled day. Athletes will get the opportunity to experience game play for the entire final session. A tournament format will be organized dependent on registration numbers.
The goal of our youth development programs is to provide an opportunity for athletes to develop fundamental skills, sportsmanship and to experience team play opportunities in a positive recreational environment. All levels of skill and experience are welcome in our youth development programs.
2013-2015 Youth Development
The Covid-19 pandemic could foreseeably force the shutdown of The Center’s Youth Development Programs due to government order. In the case of EVPC having to shut down this program before it has yet to start, EVPC will provide a program“credit” in equal value for a future EVPC Camp or program.
In the event that the Youth Development Program has already started, EVPC will have already incurred costs including coaching fees, rental costs, equipment fees, which cannot be recouped, therefore, participants will not be entitled to a refund, however, EVPC will work to provide customers a prorated credit for future use to a camp or program where possible.
FALL 2023: All camp cancellations and refund requests made prior to August 22nd, 2023 will be subject to an administration fee of 25% of the overall camp total, plus a 2% payment processing fee. There will be no refunds for any Youth Development Programs after August 22nd, 2023.
WINTER 2024: All camp cancellations and refund requests made prior to December 12th, 2023 will be subject to an administration fee of 25% of the overall camp total, plus a 2% payment processing fee. There will be no refunds for any Youth Development Programs after December 12th, 2023.
SPRING 2024: All camp cancellations and refund requests made prior to March 15th, 2024 will be subject to an administration fee of 25% of the overall camp total, plus a 2% payment processing fee. There will be no refunds for any Youth Development Programs after March 15th, 2024
